CTA PROJECT FEATURED ON NATURALLY:WOOD
We’re proud to have our DFO Port Hardy Coast Guard Station project featured on naturally:wood.
Given the relatively remote location of Port Hardy, careful consideration was given to the design of this building to maximize the use of local materials and labour. Local wood species were used where possible, featuring western red cedar and Douglas fir. Using 154 cubic meters of wood, the GHG emissions are equivalent to: 81 cars off the road for 1 year; or the energy to operate 41 homes for 1 year.
