Rand brings over 40 years of experience to the firm, providing hands-on leadership for projects, responsive client contact, and extensive firm management expertise. His early years at Arthur Erickson Architects set the stage for a strong design interest in all projects. He leads CTA's Civic and Government, Recreation, Social Housing and Health Work, and contributes strongly to Commercial, Corporate, University and Research work. Rand also takes a keen interest in designing custom houses. Rand is renowned for understanding and incorporating the many points of view from stakeholders into a design that meets the needs of the main Client without compromising a strong design aesthetic.

Russ brings over 40 years of experience to the firm and is one of BC's most respected university academic facility and research lab designers who is known for challenging the status quo. He has designed and overseen projects on 16 university campuses throughout North America, and is sought after as a featured speaker at International Research Building Conferences. He is routinely involved in all aspects of projects, and enjoys working with technical user groups, understanding their specific requirements and incorporating them into built facilities. He leads our Master Planning work, focusing on campus design. Russ also has significant expertise in the design of floating homes and marine communities, undertaking one or two of these projects a year.

Naomi brings over 20 years of experience in institutional, complex building types. She has lead project teams for facilities on at least nine university campuses and concentrates on working on technically complex facilities in the University, Research, Laboratory, Health, and Government sectors. She leads the Federal Government work for Environment Canada and the Department of Fisheries and Oceans, and contributes strongly to the business of the firm. She has specific talent for organizing the details, keeping project schedules on track, and communicating effectively to all while not loosing sight of the grand vision for the project. Naomi also takes a strong leadership in Construction Administration services and her experience well exceeds the industry norm.

Tony brings over 20 years of well rounded experience and is a talented and passionate designer who enjoys contributing to the firm's portfolio of design projects from small renovations to $50 million facilities. He contributes design expertise across the firm's projects, striving for excellence. In addition to providing daily hands on project architect skills to academic, University, Recreation and Health Care Research facilities, he leads the Corporate and Commercial sectors and work for Government. As a Certified Professional, Tony always stays current with his building code knowledge. Tony is also an accomplished artist, providing lively hand character sketches for many projects.

Terry brings over 30 years experience in project delivery in Northern British Columbia. He is a well-rounded architect, delivering small and large projects in the Commercial, Institutional, and Health sectors from interior renovations for health care clinics, RCMP facilities, and civic libraries; to new buildings such as the Prince George District Energy building, administration building for the Mining Industry, and an Ambulance station. In addition to leading the Prince George office, he brings a client focused communication, strong technical background and interest in design to all projects.

 

 

DON BROWN   B Arch., Architect AIBC

PARTNER at JCTA

Don brings over 30 years experience in all areas of practice, working in the Institutional, Commercial and Health related projects. He takes a particular interest in the historic restoration work and contributes significantly to the design aesthetic of projects. He also has an interest in contract management and provides excellent design team leadership for successful planning and design of indoor and outdoor spaces with emphasis on minimizing life cycle costs and the use of sustainable materials.

SENIOR ASSOCIATE at CTA

Glenn has over 20 years of project experience across the Province and works primarily in the Civic and Government and School sectors. He excels at small and medium sized project delivery for institutional clients, including new buildings such as Fire halls and renovations to existing ongoing facilities, such as Senior's Centres, athletic facilities, and RCMP detachments. He has established long term repeat clientele due to many successfully completed projects and has worked extensively with cities and muncipalities such as the City of Surrey.

ASSOCIATE at CTA

Sharon is a talented project architect involved in University, Interiors, Commercial, and Health sector work. She has a variety of experience including construction administration on large complex projects, design and documentation for numerous research laboratory projects, and all phases of work for interior projects. In addition she provides facility program expertise for large science or academic based projects. Sharon brings a collaborative attitude to all her projects and is always thought of highly by Owners, Users and Contractors.

 

LEO MORALES  B.Sc. Arch., Architectural Technologist AIBC

ASSOCIATE at CTA

Leo has over 20 years of technical project experience and as technical associate is responsible for overseeing CTA's team that delivers construction documentation. He develops and maintains CAD standards firm wide, and understands complex building detailing of concrete, steel and wood frame construction. He also serves as Job Captain on some of our most complex projects, and is known for creating drawing sets that are known industry wide as superior in their clarity, technical expertise, and completeness.
