Nishi graduated with honors from the University of British Columbia prior to joining us at CTA. She has a strong passion for community engagement and projects that foster meaningful connections within urban spaces. Nishi gained experience at The Purple Ink Studio in India and at Dialog here in Vancouver as an urban design intern. While at UBC, she developed a design tool focused on the integration of water in landscape design.
In addition to her academic and professional experiences, Nishi holds a graphic design certification and has worked as a visualizer at a local firm in India, further expanding her skill set in visual communication. She is an active volunteer with the Women of Architecture Vancouver chapter, supporting initiatives that empower women in the field.
Outside of work, Nishi keeps busy by teaching courses to children, listening to true crime podcasts, hosting game nights, and catching sunsets.
