As a literature graduate, Sophie has a keen eye for detail and an ability to be both analytical and creative. With a Bachelor of Arts from Durham University, Sophie joined CTA as an Administrative Assistant a year after her graduation in August 2019 with a very real interest in fictional buildings (and a dissertation on Gothic architecture and the creative imagination). Since then, we’ve started teaching her about the authentic architectural processes, and we’re so glad to have her, even if she’s now responsible for 50% of the office’s tea consumption. Outside of work, Sophie enjoys creative writing, attending concerts, and cuddling her housemate’s dogs. She’s also a keen ballet dancer and hopes to explore as much of Canada as possible during her time here.
