After obtaining her M. Arch from Dalhousie University, Michelle first joined the firm in 2005 to gain some formative hands-on experience before launching off into an architectural career spanning two decades. Having worked in both Vancouver and San Francisco, her depth of experience includes industrial, healthcare, higher education, retail and mixed-use projects.

Michelle returned to CTA in 2021 and has been a principal since August 2025. She is a LEED Accredited Professional and has successfully delivered multiple complex technical projects within accelerated schedules, fostering strong working relationships with clients and consultants alike.

As Principal, Michelle will continue to mentor junior staff and further develop industrial, healthcare, and laboratory projects. Outside of work, Michelle enjoys biking, playing piano, and exploring new places with her family.
